Finally got my bass back...
5 Attachment(s)
So after waiting a year for college and the summer, i finally grabbed my amp, subs, boxes, and wirng out of my dads 2000 gmc sierra ext cab and put them in my relatively newly aquired 87. Built a center console style box for the subs, and a simple sheet of particle board for the amp rack behind the seat...routed out a chevy symbol on top of the box for a little embossed look. What do u guys think, comments, questions, insults, whatever...lol

Did you use the partical board for the sub box also? If so you should have used MDF. Looks great though. I'd think about something like that but I have the stick in the way.

Re: Finally got my bass back...
Thanks everybody. I was about to go get some mdf but my dad had gotten a bunch of particle board granite countertop templetes from a guy he works with so i just used one of those. The only new thing i had to buy for this install was teh two rolls of carpet, at 20 bucks, cheap i think...sounds surprisingly good. I thought the volume would be too small at only 1.4 with two ports, but i think the excessive power for this size cab makes it easy to run at 1/2 blast and it sounds clear...
