ok guys, i'm thinking about it one more time. may sell her to get a 4x4 truck or blazer. if i do i'm gonna sell my DD too and just have one. i'm about to be at a carlot that i can drive whatever i want so i will have something else, this way i can consolidate. i hunt and ranch some and need a 4x4, and at this point my boy will too and when it's time for him to drive a 4x4 will be better for him too. now for the truck
72 custom deluxe highlander. it has p/s, p/b, cold a/c, tilt, restored tach dash, vette wheel (rare:lol:), air ride, 350, auto, original paint, loads of documentation, one owner, dime size spot of rust on driver kick panel, that's it, NO other rust. runs like a top, i would take off anywhere in it. i cleaned up interior, new dash pad, arm rests, sill plates, deluxe pedals, all new chrome plastic, column levers, tilt indicator, looks very nice. has new belts, alternator, battery, voltage regulator, lots of little things. suspension consists of bags and spindles up front, all compenents were new(calipers, rotors, ball joints, tie rods, etc.) rear has notch, bags, blocks, super track bar, shock relocators, boxed trailing arms, the works. kyb shocks all the way around. has air ride technologies compressor system. centerline 15" wheels and good bfg rubber. mechanically super sound. a/c still r12. paint is very presentable, but not perfect by any means being original. it also has new sport mirrors on it now. i have a new windshield gasket for it, po siliconed it, but have not installed. original wood bed floor in remarkable condition as it had a camper on it since new. has new dual exhaust and i have a set of vette ramhorns that i've prepped but need painting and installed. sorry for the long post, but wanted to answer all questions ahead of time. so what do you think guys, and be very practical, what do you think i could honestly get for it? thanks in advance! frank |

I love your truck. Wish I could afford it. Around here it would be in the $8500-$10,500 range. Easily the nicest 2wd longbed on the board.
