Automatic Steering Column Question

My new project truck started life as an automatic. During the course of time, it has lost it's steering column. It is a 1971 truck with a TH400 transmission. Will any 1967-1972 column fit? Also, what is a reasonable price for a column in working condition? Thanks!

Re: Automatic Steering Column Question

yes, and $50 or so non tilt 200+ for tilt. (350 for rebuilt tilt)

The column is 35" long,
the tricky part is that it is a 2" column with a shifter and no key the only other column that can be used is mid 70's van columns. These you have to drill one rivet and shorten the column 3" these are usually what you find for these trucks when you look for a tilt column they are a very common swap when you look for a tilt column.
