Where can I find GM codes?

I know that this has probably been beaten to death, but... ...is there a source out on the internet and /or in print that will decode '69 on up part markings?

GM parts books for the trucks is a very good parts number reference. Ocassionally people post them on the best message board they can find and some friendly people tell them what they are for.:bowtie: :canada:

Thanks for the info fellas, at a brief glance this morning I think that I noticed the marking 44-35 on the front right side of the pumpkin. Does that make sense or should I keep looking?
