Tailgate Key Switch

I am trying to help out a fellow blazer owner, He has a 1984 Blazer and needs a Tailgate key switch and harnes, does anyone know who sells these new? I checked LMC with no luck!

Has he tried GM? They probably wont have the harness, but the switch is one of those items that was used for several years.

I'll look up the part numberand availability of it tomorrow at work and let you know tomorrow night if the switch is still available. I too seriously doubt the harness is.

It's been comfirmed. Both parts are indeed obsolete from G.M. your only course is LMC or a wrecking yard.

LMC still lists the lock cylinder with key page 24. Part number 36-0704 $89.95
