8 lug suspension questions

My 66 c20 has drum brake 8 lug front. I'm keeping the 8 lug setup but want drop spindles and disc brakes. are all the drop spindles are the same for 5,6, and 8 lug rotors?

i dont think they are they same
i would update to 73 up spindles and brakes

I would leave it drum, but they dont make a drop spindle.
so i was thinking just pick up a drop spindle for a 66, then get the rest of the crap i need

Can't you get a drop spindle for 1.25" thick rotors from a 75 or something and an 8 lug rotor?
