This is a bit different. Would love to have this to haul my rat rod around...but not enough $$$ in the wallet. |
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
I keep seeing that thing on there and thinking it would be pretty rad with my '62 up on the back.

Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
we got some cool rigs in idaho!
|
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
That's a damn good price IMO.....it looks like it's in good condition.
|
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
Really good price, if I was one you Idaho fellows, I would pick it up !!!
|
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
I don't know what you guys are waiting on! That thing would be at my house by now if it were in VA.
|
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
If I had the money I would fly out there and drive it home. Boy that would be expensive.. :D
Or better yet. Ride my motorcycle out there and put it on the back and drive it home. This way if it broke down i would not be stuck... |
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
DUDE! I have got to have that! Its quite a ways away though. I might just offer my camaro and see what happens.:metal:
|
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
I figured it couldn't hurt. I offered my Camaro for a straight up trade. Just gotta figure out how to afford a 290mi drive and back if he goes for it. LOL Besides I don't like haveing to rent tow dolly's or trailors.

Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
 i hear ya there
Good luck man :chevy: |
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
I could use that!
|
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
Well, the guy did want to trade me for my Camaro but we determined that there is just way to much distance between us to make a trade. One of you guys should get it. 350ci, 2spd rearend, 5spd granny gear trans, new paint. It's pretty cool. I just wish it was closer.

Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
too bad
he wouldn't meet you half way? |
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
Yeah to bad. I told him that I was lookin to sell the car for $3000k or trade and if he could at least meet me half way I'd consider that to be the made up difference. But he's a busy guy and gonna have to move soon and needs it gone (no room). So it just wasn't gonna work.

Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
I wonder if one of the other boise guys could help? imperial custom or kd rodworks??.. Ithink here are some others too..
just throwing out options.... for a big city that boise sure is far from alot of stuff. I think it is only a few hundred miles from me, but twice that on road travel time. |
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
I went and looked at this today. It looks great only rust i found was the front cab corners and the passenger side next to the windshield. It wasn't orignally a car hauler. they put the sleeper on it and fabbed it so you have access from the cab to through the small back window.
The 16 ft bed was nice though lots of spots to hook to your "car"go to. The guy seemed a little fishy though..the engine was missing yet he said it was because the exhaust had a hole in it..... totally blowing smoke there :smoke: He didn't want to move it either...kinda makes me wonder if its road worthy??? He's also pretty set on his price too. Oh well I think a trailer would be a lot better without a mechanical mess in front of it.... |
Re: 1965 Car Hauler on CL
There is a 65(i think) flatbed for sale about 10 mins from me.They want 1500 bones for it and it has a 327.I ride by it all the time and tell the wife how cool it would be to buy it and convert it to a roll back and haul the 66 around on it.She thinks it would kick ass too but need to scrape up the money, let alone figure where we would put it.We already have 4 vehicles in the drive way lol
