Who has that one tail light pic saved??
Hey guys I am working on my 4dr burb and wanted to see the pic of the modern SUV tail light that on of our ex members had on his burb. It was a large corner style l;ight that wraped around the quarter panel. Does anyone have a pic of it or info on it? Thanks for the help.
Here is alink to the build.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...33#post2884733 Kevin LFD Inc. |

Kevin I found this. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/489596. They were Avalanche taillights. Not my first choice,... but different.

Has there been any updates on that rig? If I recall I used to see posting on the board about it, but I haven't for a while. Except I thought it was blue....

Here's a different idea from a very nice GMC Suburban - tail lights are off a Hummer.

Re: Who has that one tail light pic saved??
while on this topic, does anyone have a picture to share of a suburban with the regular truck-blazer type tail/back-up lights w/tail bezel grafted in?

He was, in fact, banned. (Not sure why) He lives in Central Mississippi. He also installed a 1950-something dash and a 67-68 hood. |

Re: Who has that one tail light pic saved??
Kevin just come out and say it; You hate the Suburban tail lights... We know you do. That Hummer one is different but to date I still think Rob's are the best looking upgrade. Here's another nice pair:

Re: Who has that one tail light pic saved??
...and here's what I'm planning; a modified version of Rob's. I'll probably go with those billet trimmed lights since I won't be able to use stock bezels:

Re: Who has that one tail light pic saved??
Anyone have any idea on how he did that hood? Did He just shorten the front?

Re: Who has that one tail light pic saved??
There is a write up in the FAQ on how to do it if I remember correctly. However it very hard and not for the faint of heart. It takes much welding skill and patience.

What lights are these? Who is Rob? I am looking for lights for my dually burb project. Im leaning toward my Smoked H2 LED lights but these in the picture are nice. Wish I could see them in color. Chris |
