Want to rewire the truck

I am looking for a new wiring harness for the 82 4x4. I have used Painless before but they are pretty expensive. Are there alternatives to them that are just as good as they are?

Is the stock harness chewed up or do you want something cleaner ?

Painless is the way to go IMO, they have a 73-87 kit. I have it and love it!

There are alot of little things that don't work and I just want to make it cleaner and have everyhting work. It would be easier just to repalce it than to pull out the factory and clean it up then put it back.
