s10 swap ignition help

Hey guys I tried to wire up my 53 Gmc today. I did the s10 swap using an 88 s10 2.8, V6. I looked everywhere on the net and in the haynes book with no luck. I bought a Ron Francis ignition. I have a Flaming River tilt column (standard trans column, my truck is also standard). I removed both the stock s10 ignition plugs and tried to wire it up. I was given a copy of a Ididit column diagram that shows the chevy ignition plugs (it matches the s10 plugs) Well I wired it up the best I could, however, the truck does not stay on. It cranks up fine and starts but when you let the key off the crank cycle it turnes off. There's gas shooting out injectors. Here's how I wired it. (S & I1 spliced together to Ron's ign starter/crank). (B2 & B3 spliced together to Ron's ign battery feed). (I3 to Ron's ign feed). (A to Ron's accessory feed). I was left with 2 wires, G1 & G2. It stated that they are both ground wires. They lead into the s10's gauge cluster. I pluged the gauge cluster up and checked both wires to ground with my multimeter and they don't seem to be ground. If anyone could spot what I'm doing wrong, please help. I'm sure this will also aid those doing the swap aswell. Thanks
