Painting the engine, doesn't make it rebuilt...... Just kidding . Looks good. Wishing you many miles of trouble free service.

I'm getting ready to pull the 383 engine out of my 70 today and install a milder, rebuilt 350 engine.

Nice, One of my favorite sayings is: How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time, You have taken your first bite. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys for the response. And BraveDave if it is not a daily driver and you have the time, replaceing engine and trans can be done with little experance and the help of the info on this forum. Just take your time. It gets hard when you hurry and feel pressure to get it done. Just walk away when things start to go wrong and start over latter.

I'm impressed - a very good example of how this board can help you along. I have attempted a lot of stuff I wouldn't have done were it not for the resources here. BTW, Gary, seeing what you did inspires a lot of us guys. Post more pix when you get the paint!
