Lower my truck?? Help!!!!
 

I need some help lowering my 77 1/2ton 2wd. Does anyone have pics of their trucks before and after and how much they were lowered. I cannot make my mind up. Maybe someone out there can assit me. Thanks a lot.

First thing for your own information, measure the difference between the front and rear fender heights. Then look at some picks of different lowered stances to see the one you want. I am going I believe a 3/4 drop on my 70 stepside.

sorry cant look at fender heights, truck is stripped to frame, any suggestions.

welcome aboard chad.my advice is to look thru this " How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds "there is pics and specs of just about every lowered shorty or the long bed thread of the same name since you didn't specify .it would be a good start.i had started a thread"before and after" when i lowered mne but the search feature won't go back far enough.any help? somebody;)

Check mine I have a 3/3 drop (1 1/2 cut springs, shackles and 2 leaf springs removed) I have a 295/50/15 tires with 15x8 wheels I love the stance

This is a 2.5/4 inch drop . Spindles front and drop leafs rear .

They are 15x8 rally wheels with 275/60s in the back and 245/60s in the front.

I'm running 2.5/4 (spindles/drop leaves), same as f.monroe. I have 255/70/15 all the way around on 8" rally wheels.

If you look in my gallery, you can see pics of it before lowering, after lowering, and there's even a before/after shot with it lowered in the front only and in the front and back.
