whitdog72 11-22-2002 03:03 AM

well i'm not sure on all the fine stuff but i can tell you what i know..... its 486 Big block, Dart aluminum heads, w/ port matched Dart intake, 14:1 compression, solid lifters, full rolling motor, msd race ignition, tweaked out 1050cfm holley dominator i think,i dont thin its a double pumper, runs 112 octane, and soon wants to run 200hp shot of nitrous, motor will handle 500..................i'll get more info on it from him next time i see him, and hopefully a pic or 2 of the motor...should be over the weekend

That looks like fun!! I'd like to see the engine complete specs as well as the drivetrain too. Something holding up to that much power is a sight to see.

Can someone explain to me the point of huge power and NOS in a 4x4? Do you guys race off road?

But of course!! we do alot of side by side mudd bogg races, pretty much 2 strips of mudd and race other trucks, we also go to oceano dunes and race there, 2 times a year or so they set up a good 1/8 mile or bigger drag strip, groom it and have actuall races with the christmas tree, on all the other big holiday weekends you just line up at the bottom of competition hill ( just a huge hill to race on) and have someone flag it and race up a hill on bigg weekends theres about like 2000+ people out at the hill watching and partying i'll look for some pics of the night races and see if i can post any up....oh yeah i have seen jeeps do wheelies up hills while racing too tons of good stuff..... hope i answered ur question!!

That looks like a wild ride. Man I can't even imagine what a day in the sand would cost in gas alone.
