Good Morning,

There is a thread around that gives an approximate weight.

As close as I can remember it is in the 3200 to 3400 pound range, of course depending on the engine size and options.

Hopefully some one else will chime in with a more accurate weight.

they seem to hover between 3500 to 4000, and even more.

Yep, I knew some one that knew a more approximate weight would chime in.

I should write this down in my reference book, that is when I find it again.

Take it to a local quarry.
Unless you need an "official weight tag"; they should let you run it across their scale @ no charge.
Well, at least they do around here.

Re: weight

my old SWB was right at 4100 pounds
short fleet 69 GMC, 350/th350, not a lotta junk to 'chunk' it up.
Light weight exhaust (headers, 3 feet of pipe, then mufflers, nothing else) alluminum intake, alluminum rims, rusted away sheet metal
Did have maybe 200 pounds of crap in the tool box, but no spare, and not much fuel.

Re: weight

Any local truck stop / travel center will have a scale for tractor trailers, and you can weigh there for exact weight. My '72 c-10 swb fleet, 350, 3550 tremec, ps, headers, dual flowmaster exit in front of rear wheel, = 4000lbs

Re: weight

You are at least in the 4,000 range. My 68 SWB with a 460 comes in at 4,000. If you minus the BBC and add the lwb, you are going to be right there or more. They are not in the low to mid 3,000 range stock. That's Camaro weight!!!
