wanting to make rear bag brackets
 
Was going to lower rear of my 78 blazer by removing all but 2 leafs maybe use lowering block too.As anyone made there own brackets for this type of setup,I have lots of free time insread of ordering and waiting for them to get here

I made my top brackets for an AOL set-up on my 74. Mine is diiferent in that I didn't remove any leaves, I just added the AOL for towing capacity.

I was wondering if the brackets should be stronger with most of the leaves removed compared to a aol setup for towing,a pic would be nice.and what thinkness of metal should I be using

I used .250" plate & would recommend that regardless.
