Will burb belts fit in a truck?

I'm in the process of changing interior color in my truck and it's just about impossible to find gray seat belts but it seems that Suburban seat belts are everywhere, does anyone know if they will fit? I'd look myself but the nearest junkyard is about an hour away, thanks for the help

After looking at the belts in the Suburban I parted out, the belt bracketry changed...how it bolted to the floor. Burbs have a flatter floor than the trucks, and I am pretty sure that is where the difference lies. I don't think they are identical...something you might want to look at a little closer before your purchase. Let me know what you find out if you don't mind.

They dont fit, looks like the floor curves up on the truck cab and does the opposite in the burb. Oh well, I ended up just ordering some gray universal belts.

Is there anyway that bracketry could be changed ? My seat belts are looking pretty worn.

What are the options for decent looking seat belts for our trucks ?

I talked to the people at autoloc and they told me these would fit

I should have them today or tomorrow, I'll post some pictures if they fit.

Looks like the belts will work just fine, I am still waiting for the anchor brackets to show up or you could just use a small peice of angle iron. Sorry these pictures suck I cant seem to find my camera right now. I'll post some better pictures in a day or two

Really? it looked like the mounting hole of the burban belt was too far toward the retracting part of the belt? Would you mind taking a couple pics of how they look mounted in the truck?

I will try to get a photo for you but long and short of it
it put bolt through hole on bracket attached to seat belt
and screw down tight . not sure of the alignment
issue you a talking about . these were belts out of a 1988
suburban going into a 84 pick up. the belt bracket had a bit of
a bend in the middle and I hammer /bent it flatter

Some upholstery shops can replace the webbing in the retractors.

Yeah it is a crappy situation. Burban belts don't fit and nor do blazer. I have tried both with no luck. The prices on black pickup seat belts ARE CRAZY. people are getting 150 plus for used belts. My local junkyard that I like has crushed all the 73-87 and the other one wants 60 for a set............ I guess that is why my truck has one red and one tan belt with an all new black and grey interior.
