windows fogging up

I have a vintage air system and it's been great this summer. But now it's winter time and when I first turn on the heater the whole cab mists up and fogs the windows.

It's not anti-freeze. Any ideas?

You must have condensation in the heater. That`s what it does when the heater core goes. But,if it`s not coolant I`d suspect there`s drain plugged or something.

crack your windows slightly to vent

i'd rather not in the cold rain. but that's what i do anyways or get a towel to the window to wipe it

It's so bad that rolling the window down quite a bit was not enough.

Today I left the A/C on but pushed the bottom temp lever all the way to the heat side.... figuring the A/C is a dehumidifier. I think it worked (already wiped the windows but they didn't continue to fog up).

I have closed up the vents in the footwells and hava a smoothed cowl too. So I imagine there's little fresh air coming in. Interesting to hear the same problem with other Vintage Air units as I was going to try and get some air into the cowl area from that big hole in the far passenger side of the firewall.

i got the kick vents blocked, but stock cowl. any position other than cold on the bottom lever fogs my windows (which opens the heater valve). i never had this fogging problem for the 1st year, because i didn't have the ac charged up, but after that, i'm getting fogged up.
