man it the first pic that primer looks super shiny. looks good what color you going with?

The roof and hood will be black and from the door handles down will be silver. There will be a small green pinstripe. I dont know why the primer looks so shiny.

No kinks in the hood that I know of.

Looks good so far.

The 73-80 trucks had more to worry about with kinking hoods than the 81+ trucks did.

I think I will let it sit in the garage until winter is over. This will let the paint cure and I wont rush putting it back together. I cant wait to see it with some paint on it. Thanks

Sounds like a great color combo. Now you're at the fun part. I loved it when I got to where they started primering and the truck got to be all one color. Good luck!

The bed and tailgate are finished. The rest of the truck should be done soon.

If you look very close at the picture there is a 1/8inch lime green pin stripe. Thanks to everyone for the replies.

Looks great so far! I was thinking of this color combo for my dually so I am anxious to see your truck finished (I was thinking a red stripe not green though).

Here is a pic with the whole truck painted. It has to be wet sanded and buffed. I should have it back this weekend.
