To drop or not to drop

As I read all the threads and look at everyone's pride and joy, I have to ask myself, should I drop my truck or leave it OE? I see a lot of lowered trucks and I really don't know if I am hooked on them or not. The other question I have to ask is how low is too low?

4/6 drop, looks good and can be driven anywhere, anytime without worry.

My 72 Stepside has been my daily driver for over 100k miles now and I've never been sorry I lowered it.

I vote slammed, but only if you have the money & time

Other wise just lower it like a 4/6

But to me, stock is for things worth too much to modify

Does dropping:hmm: interfere with truck towing capability?

IN the words of fellow mini-truckers from the past (IF YOU CANT TUCK YOU SUCK) I love them slammed on air but if it is going to be your daily driver and you dont have a lot of money to slap into the suspension a 4/6 drop is a realy clean look.

"Drop It"

I feel that these trucks look great all the different set up but there is something I really like to the drop stance that it is just awesome....

Are you building this truck to your tastes or worried about what other people think?

If your truck is finished and stock height post a pic over in the photoshop area and ask to have it lowered.

I agree wiath Tx F, 4/6 looks just right in my opinion, plus depending on how original your truck is, to get it back to it original state just remove the lower springs and drop spindes, and walah (harp bling ) stock truck!

Glad to see you back and posting again. I know I've appreciated your help and advice over the years and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I think a 2/4 would be better for a daily driver myself, but you won't do bad with a 4/6 either.
