I want to repaint the Dash Cluster can I take it apart without messing it up?

Can I take the eight screws off the back and paint the front?

Yes you can, I just did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. The gauges them selves will stay as one unit, the front will come off separate and the lens will be separate. While off I painted the orange pointers also. I also used a paint adhesive promoter and used a dupi-color rattle can turned out nice
