shop curtain

Thought someone might like to see this set up I made for a divider in my shop. it really helps control the heat on the east bay of my shop while still being able to raise and lower the door on the west side. could also be used to control overspray. I used 2 1/8" unistrut found at most hardware stores for the track, used 3-4" ridid conduit for the runners with 1/4-20 eye bolts attached to the conduit pieces. I had an old truck tarp layin around i used for the actual curtain. Works pretty good for what im using it for.

Great idea. I've thought about how I could do it. That's the ticket. I might get around to it in a couple of years.

Thats awesome, I want to build one. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for all the parts? I need to seperate my garage bay from my moms, so I can work and keep her car clean =]

I am glad you guys can use this. as far as the price of the parts, I bought the unistrut when metal prices were very high and I believe it was about $35.00 for a 10' stick. I am sure that is prolly half that much now that metal has went down. the 3/4" rigid pipe is prolly $1.50 per foot just guessing. Might be a good idea to go to Lowes or Home Depot and look around to put a price list together. Sorry couldnt help much

I gave the wrong size of the unistrut, I said it was 2 1/8" but I used 1 5/8". Sorry
