its a 'old van prolly the same era as your truck"
they says its got an auto tranny. can i put that into mine? what about the tilt colum, what years will swap and go into my truck, maybe its got bucket seats? who knows..ive no idea wat its about i'll have more info later..he said they want somewhere arond 500 but would take less im sure.

and what all things could i take out of this truck for mine, ?rear gas tank etc?

okay, its gotta 350 motor th350 trans and they'll take 300 for it i dont konw what year, or much of the condition, it was wrecked, and since then parked. Going to look at it tomorw with my buddy, also, could i use the Tilt column out of this, or it it gonna take alot of custom fab. to get it to work, or is it a direct bolt up? and it'd have buckets in the frnot wouldnt it? could i put these in my truck? thanks! since that is all the info you have... get us photos and the year, and we can answer your questions better.
The tranny is a yes
column is a maybe (probably)
buckets, probably, but you may not want them
fuel tank... no idea myself, some one else may know?

As far as the column goes, look at the position of the ignition switch. If it's on the dash, the column will work.

thanks long horn man your always been answering my ?s for me lol 'pat on the back' lol i have not a clue on the condition, i'll try to get a pic, more than likely i'll be bringin it home tomroow but we shall see, what will the scrapyard gime for it w/o tranny motor?? thanks!

the column will work more than likely. i believe up to 79 was the same as the truck column(no key). am/fm radios are a near replica of the am/fms used in pickups. tranny, motor are for sure. buckets wouldn't look good imo if they are the ones im thhinking of. marker lights, too.

i don't know if scrap is up yet(doubt it), but right now, ur not looking at much, at least from the yards around here.

With scrap prices lately, the salvage value probably won't pay for the gas you burn to take it down there.

Scrap has hit the skids in the last two months.

alritey...well unfortunately i'll be scrappig this van (prolly, or sellin it for parst cheap) and my moms car with a shot motor 1889 oldsmobile cutlass mite take the steats outta it though :)

Ransom E. Olds started the 'Olds' line of autos.... Also 'REO' trucks.... He also desigined a compound cutter for making ellipitical cam lobes. This 'cutter' slightly modified; is still used today in optical labs. Used to grind the compound curves necessary for some lens in eyeglass production. In the optical industry this machine is known as the "Oldfield Lap Cutter"

well we looked at it today..front end is a lil smsuhed its a 1970 model 350 motor th350 trans..gonna talk to a local mech. see wat he says i'l post pics later tontie. watyall think 45,000 orig mile!

i'd first try turning the engine over by hand to maake sure its not frozen// i'd start at $150 but even if motor and tranny need a rebuild with a tilt $300 would be a pretty fair price// that front plates got to be worth a bit too

ima try'n get it for 200, and ive gotta take all of the lil old ladys stuff out, (shes prolly 85) but 40,xxx miles, ya reckon its orig. miles, he wrecked it along time ago, the taillights say its 70 model, from ths pics is that correct? thanks and yall think anything else would be usealbe off of it? thanks!

I'd keep the hubcaps off of it for sure, if nothing else than garage ornaments. The front plate too!

thers 2 diff kinds of hubcaps lol and the front pass. sdie is gone lol...but its gotta bunch of stuff in it..would the gas tank be of any value its under the back of it i saw..dunno if its usable even....butchall think its worth 300, what can i get after i take what i need (scrapyard give me?) thanks!

doesnt it have a vin plate? handles wiper arms trimscrews latches strikers light bulb holders vent window latches bumper bolts glovebox latch little stuff like that is pretty universal and good to have layin around in a junk box
