Tailgate issue on K5

Hi folks, hope this is in the right forum. I've got a '77 K5 with a busted up tailgate. I have found one off of a '77 suburban but am wondering if it will work. Is there any differences? It seems like the burb is just a longer version of the K5. Will I be able to use it. It's a great price and is even a power window. Thanks guys.

where in central texas are you? what is wrong with the current tailgate? I'm asking because I may have a spare (missing a few parts) that may work for you if you wanted it.

I'm in South Austin. The current tailgate has broken glass, missing rear handle and most of the guts seem to be gone.
