The K-20 variety is difficult to find but I thought that the K-10's were still available. I have a set of K-10's if that is what you are looking for. I have all 3/4 ton stuff now.

Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
I haven`t checked in a good while. But they were used through`91 and even though the trucks they came on are being restored now,I don`t see many stock restos with those caps. They are not so sought after as of yet.

I have a couple of those with open centers for the Hubs to go through, though they measure 10 3/4 across.

Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
LMC Truck still shows them in their catalog. PN 36-8158 rear 20 series. The front shows as standard, PN 36-8132 but doesn't list whether or not it's 3/4 or 1/2 ton, but shows this part to be for part time 4x4. The next one is PN 36-8150. It's supposed to fit K10s with either full or part time 4x4. It shows this same part number for the rear of a C-10. This doesn't seem right to me, but maybe it is. I thought that the full time and part time 4x4 fronts were different, much less the front and rear. Price each on all of them is $59.95. You might want to just give them a call at 1-800-562-8782 to verify that they still have them and that these part numbers are correct for your truck. Hope this helps. ...joe

Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
These are what you need for the rear, the fronts have holes of course, I just sold a nice set a few months ago. Give this guy on Ebay a call and see if he has fronts.
Be careful, some pictured in this thread look like 73 and up or 76 and up styles. They are very similar to 69-72 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVR...Q5fAccessories |

What year are you looking for? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=302459 |

Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?

Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
Yessir i'm the culprit, I think the ones you linked a pic of in your first pic are wrong. These are the right ones, I got em from MSGROSS. I've seen them ocassionally for sale online.
http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...x/IMG_1136.jpg These are also correct and I saw them on the hubcaps.com website. I got a good deal on mine. It almost looks like I have an addiction, well maybe. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...raddiction.jpg Here's the correct rears too. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...yhubcappic.jpg |
Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
Ok...based on the pics above I now really have no idea if mine are original or not....sounds like the set that were on my truck are the later version...The ones pictured above are for what years?
I did find this set....seller says he believes they are NOS or early takeoffs....for $50..I grabbed them for the time being.... http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/8/0/1...93009533_o.jpg |
Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
anyone have a vintage ad that shows these hubcaps? That's how i found out that 68 4wd's didn't have any...

Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
Those last caps are 3/4t,I believe. The 1/2t & 1t caps flare out at the hub hole while the 3/4t caps are flatter..This style is`76-87(73-91 Blazer/Suburban/Crewcab).

Rack Man, you need the a set like JTrux has pics of. They are what I have always believed to be 69-72 hubcaps. The ones like you had on your truck when you bought it are I believe 75 or 76 and up hubcaps. They never came on our style trucks. For your truck though, you want white caps like the ones JTrux has pics of. Unless you are going for a cst pickup when you are done. After seeing how tedious your build is coming, I figure you are going more with the stock look, so you do not want the chrome or stainless caps. They should be white for any plain jane c10 model, but would be stainless and such for cst models. I have a pic of the two kinds of hubcaps for 69-72.

Re: Stock 4x4 Dog Dish Hubcaps - Where to get em?
AAnd,if you want white caps, which would be 10x harder to find, you could blast and paint/powdercoat the bright ones white, then detail the accents. All you would need are un-dinged used caps. You could order bright hubcaps. It would be listed on the SPID.
