1972 Blazer "parts only" for sale San Diego

5 Attachment(s)
**** Parts only guys****

****Full inventory and prices coming soon****

Glove box had a CST or Custom emblem...can't remember.

You dismantle with your tools. Blazer is in La Mesa,Ca a suburb of San Diego. I will ship if necessary.

Top is removed. Glass and hinges in tact. All new rubber in plastic waiting for install.

I've owned this 72' for a few years. She runs great (funny ignition problem though) but purrrrs like a kitten.

Here is the story. I bougt her a few years ago with the intention of turning her into something similar to what I had owned years ealrlier. That didn't happen. After her sitting for a year or two I've decided she has to go.

As usuall the Tranny and TCase leaked. I pulled the Tcase and had her rebuilt and resealed. No leaks no drips. Trany and Tcase are solid. The 350 looks tired on the surface but performs pretty well for a stocker. My buddy who is a master tech said someone half arsed the short block intall and let the valve cover gaskets leak causing it to look tired. Check in out for yourself. Pull the covers off. She's purrrty.

Overall she's in great shape. Some rust (shown) and I'm sure there is some rust i cannot see. Overall rust isn't bad.

If you need a specific part ask and will see if i have it. No shipping though guys...well, unless you make it worth my while :metal:

Some bonehead used the top as a roof rack for small canoes. It appears to be in decent shape. Many of you would want to retexture and clean it up.

I probably have every rubber seal and top gasket available through LMC. Images attached are just the beginning. You should come and see for yourself.

Truck was originally orange but painted Light Autumn Wood Metallic (55u).

Front discs and rear drums serviced upon purchase
Single Wall Top (solid but needs repairs)
Body mount kits (new, never opened)
Visors (both original and LMC)
Hounds tooth buckets
Rear bench is worth recovering or rebuilding
Emblems (think one said CST or Custome) Can't remember...too many whiskeys at this point.
new seat belts
original seat belts
Olcoa Look alikes with 33's
AC Compressor
Tons of top seals
Break light seals
New doors seals
Door panels could easily look killer
Have new arm rests
New battery tray

So many little things I've bought and haven't done a thing with. You should call or come by.

All this stuff is in plastic from LMC waiting to get installed. Mix and match it to fit your project. Some original, some LMC. All body panels are original and appear to be in really good shape. Willing to part with all.

Due to too many calls, please email with qeustions on product. Inquiries are welcome. Many parts are not listed.

Sarcasm here..."parts only guys" usualy means I'm selling it "by the part."

It would be in the "for sale" section if I wanted to sell the whole thing as one unit.

Interested in any emblems and original seatbelts. Of course they would need to be shipped. Also the rear seat hold down brackets. Price and condition?

I wish you were closer, but you really need to post some prices. I think the "email.........." part qualifies as an auction and would be breaking the board rules.

Sellers Code of Conduct 67-72chevytrucks.com

I. All for sale or trade ads must include the price. If you do not know the price of the item(s) you are

selling, then you should do some research. Absolutely no auctions or bids.

III. All sales must be posted in thread, a reply stating who is in line is also suggested. Accepting sales via

Private Messages will result in confusion within the thread and is strictly prohibited.

:agree: Post prices or it will be locked. We would appreciate keeping the dealing out in the open also.

My intention is to comply to all rules that this site has in place. The more specific the question the better I can do in answering it. I've sold many items in forums. PM's make everything a train wreck. If you all can hang in there with me for a few I will have a full inventory of unopened inventory. Original equipment will require me to go down and take a look.

Thanks for looking and please be as patient with me as I will be with you.

Ok...

It's gonna take a few days. I am parting out an entire fully operational vehicle. I don't know if I can post a price on every nut and bolt you know what I mean.

If I could, I will make an inventory and part # as to the most popular items and liste them. But if someone wants to know how much I want for a used $5 head light...I'm gonna really struggle with the rules.

I want to comply. Any suggestions from moderators is appreciated.

Hey, if I can stoke out a fellow 1st gen guy with some seat belts (which I have), I wills ship them.

This parting out will take work in progress. I have no desire to go to Ebay or Craigslist. So if Admin and members could keep me in line with rules and regs I will do all I can to offer up my Blazer parts to 67-72 member. I have not posted anywhere else...so let's make this work.

I'll be honest with you though, I have no desire to yank an NP205 and send it to someone in NY. Just being realistic. Small stuff is no biggie. But if you want a front clip you need to bring your tool belt.

I will keep an ongoing thread as to whose in line. You can trust me...I'm a fisherman, I don't tell stories :)

Re: 1972 Blazer "parts only" for sale San Diego

Give me a few days guys.

I will post what I can sell and ship and then what I can sell and have picked up. I don't plan on being a dismantler for a living. If this gets too out of control I will just have to craigslist it and have folks come get what they want.

For example. Rear seat arm rests. I would deminish the value of the rear seat if I took off the armrests. Why would I do that when it's probably worth more ($ per hour to me) to sell it as a whole.

Please keep posting what you are interested in and I will respond in the follwing days with prices and availability.
