67 & 68 Price - Facts Books

I have a copy of Chevrolet's Price & Facts Book for 1967 & 68. I recieved them from a salesmen in Waterbury, Ct in 1985 when he retired after 40 years selling Chevrolets. His name was Carmen Lombardi and was a true gentleman. If anyone needs information that the books might answear, let me know. They cover pass cars and Series 10-30 trucks. 67 book is 1st edition Oct 1966. 68 book is 2nd edition Feb 1968..........Happy Holiday's to All.:flagw:

Re: 67 & 68 Price - Facts Books

Okay, so what is the Price and Facts Book? I have a 1969 Truck Data Book. It's loose-leaf, in a binder, and has info from C-10 to C-80; bus chassis; El Camino's, P-series, tire info, options, colors, etc. Option numbers, as they appear on the SPID plates, with pricing from the manufacturer, the markup and the dealers MSRP.

Is that the kind of data that your book has? The fact that it has cars, is neat. So, Camaro, 'Vette, Nova, Impala, Chevelle is all in there. Any trucks?

Post a couple of pictures of a few pages, if you don't mind - that would be pretty interesting.

That is awesome that he thought of you to give the book to.And,a dang helpful offer.WI suspect we`ll see you straightening things out a bit when what was and what wasn`t offered and such.I was thinking about ordering a new`68 CST 396.I`ll call you when I`m ready to place the order and we`ll sit down and spec it out.
It sounds like both of you have the same books, but ChevRoLay has a truck-only book that covers larger trucks, too. So,we have 67-69 covered. And,I have one for`71 that covers the cars as well. It`s cool to play with. So,those 67 & 68 books have Corvairs, right?Mine has Vega Express, you know, the little Sedan Deliveries.
Here`s mine`s cover (most of it).It also had some brochures punched and inserted in the front:

Re: 67 & 68 Price - Facts Books

My Truck Data Book is one that someone on the board in Phoenix, had for sale a few years ago. He had more than 2, but I don't know how many. I'm a sucker for literature, but have not gone after some of it, while keeping others that have sentimental value. For instance, I have 1950 Pontiac, 1954 Ford (from a dealership in W.Germany), 1956 Mercury (I had one). From the sixties, I have '62 and '64 GM booklets that were issued to stockholders (I wasn't one), as well as '66 El Camino accessory brochure and a buttload of sales material from the late 70s into the early '90's for various cars. Don't know why I got them, maybe 'cause I was shopping.

It's just fluff, for the most part.

Wow, that's cool....I would love to know what my '67 stepside base price was. It as a stripper with the 250 6cyl, 3speed manual on tree and a heater. There's only three things on the spid sticker and one of them was the paint.
