Re: porto-walls
I think Frizzle did something like this on his daily driver (not even sure what kinda car it is, but the white walls look cool!).

Re: porto-walls
The last time I used Port-O-Walls, was on my '54 Ford, which got totaled-out in Feb. '65. I got them for my birthday for the same reason you want them....couldn't afford to buy whitewalls.
The way that radial tires flex (sidewalls) is the issue. Bias-ply tires don't flex, which is the key to radials gripping the roadway better than bias-ply tires. |
Re: porto-walls
HoupPhotography had some and said they suck, they came apart on him.

Re: porto-walls
they aren't good for radial tires they'll come apart in short order
but if you use with bias tires the hold up better |
Re: porto-walls
Hey Sluginxlt have you ever thought about using a rubberized tire paint such as this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WIDE-...Q5fAccessories
Not to Hijack this thread but I am also looking for a cheap way to get the white wall look! |
Re: porto-walls
There are a lot of guys who paint them on... Do a search on the HAMB... Its really cheap and holds up well...
