Dakota Digital LED Taillights

Has anyone installed the LED taillight assembly from Dakota Digital?

Is it the same one LMC sells (for less than half the price)?

I haven't used the DD taillights, but I did stop by Autozone and pick up some led taillights that plug directly into the factory plugs.. I was pretty impressed by the brightness of them. They were around $9 or so if I remember correctly.

Chris (Captkaos installed them in his CC)...there is a thread on the board somewhere...try a search.

I want to get a set, but need to spend the money on some other things first.

I like DD products, they come with a lifetime warranty too.

I've got them in mine. I used the 3-way weather pak connectors for the install istead of hard wiring them together. I also had the lenses "smoke" tinted shortly afterwards. Don't have any pics of the install process but here are a few pics of the final result.

I also installed 2 electronic flashers inplace of the standard flashers for both the turn signals and hazard circuits. That was over 2 years ago and never any problems since

I have the ones from LMC and they work great. The company that makes theirs make them for LMC directly.
