Nice truck!!! I'd be afraid that some one would drool on it if it were mine.

Gotta wonder about the Show lingo though. "This truck runs out 100%" Does it drive well or do the numbers match 100%? It sounds cheesy to me.

I would drive it till the tires came off, put them back on and drive it some more. :mm:

The SPID label is obviously a redo. Makes me wonder about the rest of the truck, and the mileage claim. Not saying it isn't what he claims, but the SPID is a glaring sign that something may not be right.

Yup, that's a good example of a poorly made up SPID. Nice truck though.

Nice truck, but don't like how its represented. It MAY have 44000 miles on it, but it doesn't really matter now that its completely restored and the spid jumps out, too! At least if you're going to fake it, put the options in the correct order.

I have never seen a 1970 with that many option sound fish to me.

All the vehicles are very low miles and clean...If someone is willing to pay for them more power to the seller.

Re: Ok...this truck is at $21,211...what will it sell for?

no doubt it is a nice truck but a few things are not properly represented.
#1dual exhaust-not an option on a small block
#2-tilt column should be black
#3-steering wheel not a truck option
#4-that SPID looks really tacky

i'd still love to own a truck that nice and if it looks as nice in person as it does in pics, it would be a real crowd pleaser. it just sounds as if it being misrepresented.

Also did not come from factory with PDB (power disc brakes).

Re: Ok...this truck is at $21,211...what will it sell for?

Okay, he's a dealer. He's not about to downplay anything about the truck, especially in todays economy.

The truck is over-restored. Granted, it's nice. But like others above have mentioned, there are some things that are obvious. The SPID says it has a side-mount spare, yet there is one hanging underneath the back of the bed. We know the wheels aren't right. If he really wanted to portray the truck as original, which he didn't, then he'd be putting the stuff on it that the SPID calls for, like hub caps and black tires and a side mount spare.

But we're suckers for a pretty face, right? It looks nice, but he's gonna get someone who doesn't know all of the ins and outs of these trucks and then they're gonna wanna join the board.....and we'll be nice to them when they show us what they just bought.

First thing I noticed was the painted tilt colum, nice truck though. I'd be proud to call it my own.

I'd love to have it, the only thing I'd change is that cheesy SPID label.

Re: Ok...this truck is at $21,211...what will it sell for?

I don't know if it will make reserve. My guess is bidding will play out around 28k. I'll guess his reserve is 33k.

I think it is a 33-35k truck.

Gorgeous truck, but I agree on the SPID....an obvious aftermarket add-on. I love the Corvette wheel though.

I'll play....it'll get $27,500 max.

Re: Ok...this truck is at $21,211...what will it sell for?

i think that is one d@mn nice resto and i wonder whaty he means by "runs out 100%"?
does that means it runs out of gas 100% every time
the way i understood the truck info prosted he is just saying that its a low mile highdollar resto, done to look as original as possible
other then matching numbers engine i dont see any mention of the truck being 100% original
i bet the truck will pull 25k or close
i would drive the crap out of the truck:metal:

Beautiful truck, 100% original or not. I'd venture to say at least $25K (min)

My 70 C10 LWB has the following factory installed options: CST Package, Buckets w/console, A/C, Factory Tach, 402 BB, 400 auto, two tone Green, and tinted windows. I added a tilt wheel, posi, tilt, rear slider, and AM-FM with GM 8 track.

Re: Ok...this truck is at $21,211...what will it sell for?

That is a true truck. We owned that truck a couple of years ago. We bought it in Carlisle, Pa from a guy from Canada. That truck is as staight up as they come. We put the wheels and tires on it. And the front bumper guards(NOS). We also put the steering wheel on it. As for the rest we did not do. It did come from Texas. We checked that truck over from top to bottom and there has not been a patch panel put in it anywhere. If you have ever been in a nice original truck and rode in it, they are so tight and smooth. This one is the same way.

Ick, pay the $100 for a nicely redone SPID card for that kind of cash!

Very very nice.... be interesting to see what he gets for it

was watching an auction on TV and most cars were not making the reserve. Definately a buyer's market right now.
