New Wheels?

Can anyone tell me if a 22"x9.5" with a 5.25" backspacing work all the way around a 67'? It is 5 lug with a 4/6 drop?

First off :welcome2: to the board!

Secondly, when it comes to wheel choice and BS selection, it is best to stop by your local (reputable) wheel/tire shop and have them help measure the correct BS. Even though a truck might seem identical a wheel/BS choice might not work on another. For instance with the 67-72 truck models there was actually two different size rear ends used; this would greatly affect the correct BS required for your application.

Sorry, didn't see you were looking at 22 inch rims

I just put 15 inch chrome rallies on my 67... it has 5 lug conversion with disc brakes and the narrow rear end.

4.5 backspacing on the front was too much and rubbed the calipers (could be a 15 inch rim issue)
5 inch backspacing on 10 inch rear worked but left too much gap due to narrow rear end.

Had to use spacers... 8x15 with 4in BS front & 10X15 with 4in BS would of been perfect for my truck.

But like was stated, not all trucks the same and larger rims could probably get away with more in the front. I went with more backspace in case I was wrong... nothing you can do if they stick out too much...
