Yes, there is such a creature albeit they are very very rare. My ’68 GMC 2wd originally came with a semi-floating 6 lug Dana 60 but I smeared a few teeth off the ring gear and currently have a Dana 44 in it right now. Aside from me breaking mine, I think Dana 60’s are pretty tough. Not sure why mine broke.

That said, you would still be better off swapping in a 14 bolt full floating rear axle and swapping on 8 lug brake rotors and backing plates to your front D44 or 10 bolt as a 6 lug Dana 60 will be near impossible to find.

I have pictures of my broken semi-float 6 lug Dana 60 if you want to see them.

Like larry said, start looking under 67-72 GMCs.another 6-lug option would be to go with a,`88-up 14-bolt semi-floater.They are alot tougher than a 12-bolt and are found in the light-duty 2500s.Look for the 2500 badge and 6-lugs.These are the 2500s without fender flares.
Using any rear from`73-up will require spring pad and shock mount relocating. Not a big deal, though.
