need help with these rear gear numbers

here are the numbers from the rear gear 10-28-66 DANA A302 46 13.here are the numbers from the caps that hold the gear in place A 15366 069 070.there were no numbers on the axle tubes.the only number i found on the outside of the housing was 44-1.the axle is under a 67 gmc 1/2 ton 6 lug.thanks for the help.ITS A 12 BOLT REAR AXLE

GMC used spicer axles, not chevy built axles, for their 1/2 tons thru out the 60's. The standard axle was the spicer 44 with the optional spicer 60-2. Looks like your is a 44 model with 3.54 ratio.

The way he got that ratio was by dividing the numbers 46 and 13, arriving at the 3.54 ratio

thanks for the help.but the rear is a 10 bolt not 12,[sorry cant count]

It is a Dana 44. Dana axles have 10 cover bolts.
