Factory Radiator Overflow Bottle Pictures

For those interested in seeing a factory overflow bottle, here's some pics of it with the bracket and the spid that backs it up. The bottle itself is cracked on the bottom, but it is still a cool piece! This was on a military truck from factory. Enjoy!

I thought about that. Im not sure if I'm using it on my 72 super yet or just keep it on the bench for a while.

No, the only one I do have of the engine you can barely(and I mean barely) see where it was. It mounts on the driver's side beside the radiator.

Re: Factory Radiator Overflow Bottle Pictures

That is the same type overflow bottle I have on my 71 super. I bought several years ago on ebay NOS . The bottle mounts on the driver's side on the core support just above the horn location. It came with 4 screws that mount it to the support. The bracket is a semi gloss black, and it looks like your cap was originally white, mine was white when I opened the box, but painted it black because it matched the wiper bottle better.
