Where the f*ck is my tranny leaking from

my tranny is leaking....not all that bad but enough to piss me off.i replaced the pan gasket and filter about 7 months ago and it still leaks.i think it might be the seal for the dipstick tube or the pan gasket may have blown.any ideas as this leak is beginning to annoy the hell out of me.

try speedo cable connection?

I had the same problem and finally traced it to being the tranny tube (dipstick holder). It was cracked about half way up took me forever to find it. Good luck!!!!

Is the pan lip bent any? I would also check the speedo cablr connection.

I know your pain Jim. first leak on my th350 was the dipstick tueb. Every time I poured in more fluid some would drain onto the ground. Turns out the tube was resting on the exaust manifold and had burned a hole in it.
Leak #2- detent cable housing was broke, and it leaked out from there all the time
Leak #3- dipstick tube gasket
Leak #4- I have no idea why or where this one came from. Everything was tightend down, new gaskets EVERYWHERE, and still it dripped. It looked like it was just soaking threw the pan gasket.

all good suggestions guys.....the leak i noticed last night when i was leaving work appears to be coming from both the front of the pan and right passenger side of the tranny.the pan being bent at the lip also crossed my mind.the dipstick tube could also be a culprit.im not sure about the speedo cable connection but ill check that.i guess i know what im doing next weekend....im moving this weekend.....ugh i hate moving....anyone wanna come do it for me lol

I have been fighting some leaks on my TH-350 for the last several weeks. I kept going back and forth between NAPA and the house trying to match up parts. I would suggest that you just buy a complete seal kit for it. I bought mine at a transmission shop for about $20, but NAPA told me they only get $22 for it. It will save you a lot of trips to the parts store, and you'll probably end up using many of the parts eventually anyway.

sounds like the dipstick O-ring to me from the location it is coming from.

Had the same problem!
