It's real nice but I thought the shifter for the xfer case was supposed to be chrome and why the heck did they put 4.11's in it. Maybe they had originally planned to put a OD in it.

A/c was always an individual option. In those days, "packages like Cheyenne or super" were primarly just trim -dressup. One would think for that price the truck would at least have the trim straight!!

very nice truck BUT, for that much money the exhaust should be even on both sides and it should have a super tailgate handle cover. i'd still be proud to call it mine if i could afford it.

72 with 6 lug axles ? Maybe they were swapped, but he's missing a lugnut or 2 on the left front . Those didn't look like Flowmasters to me, but I may be wrong. I'll give him one thing, it looks a whole lot better than my truck :lol:

It's a nice truck, that's for sure. Is it authentic? Hard to say. Is it to much money?...Well, He's ballpark on what I'd have to have for my K10 to leave the herd...But mine's not wearing Cheyenne badges...And mine has cold A/C...And the inside of my bed is nicer than his.:lol: It's hard to say guys. It could be a bargain for someone. Factory 71-72 swb 4x4s are extremly rare. I don't know the numbers for 71 but in 72 they only built 6069. Besides...he's not trying very hard to sell it if he's got it on Craigslist. Most of what I see there is people looking for a bargain/steal. He'll have to expand his market to see those numbers.

I can't say nothing about it as mine is real questionable too.. but hey! that might be my trucks son or grandson ,,sure takes on the family looks. LOL
I will say that the price is not firm so in this economy crunch he probably wont get the full price ,,but I bet he can get close to 20k + or - Larry |

I think it is a very nice looking truck...and for the average person like me I would luv to have it in parked in my garage...but...to the purist--then that's where the "looking through a magnifying glass" comes in. Presently it puts my truck to shame. I agree with the economy he might be pushing to get $20-22,000. JMHO.

the mufflers are old magnaflows, discontinued a few years back. they are nice sounding mufflers though, we still have a few sets on the shelf at work and they are stainless to boot.
