Does anyone know the correct numbers for a 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor for 71-72 Chevy Cheyenne Pickup. Thanks

Casting number 704xxxx according to my Rochester book. 4th digit will be 1 or 2 for last year and 6th digit will be 0,1 or 2 for Chevrolet. They call these casting numbers but they are actually stamped into the side of the carb.

It will probably change with engine size and trans combo.

Here's a list for 72 truck carbs from the 1972 10-30 Series Truck Service Manual.
Also a pic of my 72 BB Rochester.

I used this site when I did my rebuild. Lots of pics, and great customer service. http://WWW.Carburetor.ca/carbs/tech/...jet-index.html but you will still need to find #. Mine was on drivers side behind throttle linkage.
