ok, i took this pic looking through my clutch

My guess is there is no pilot bearing in there, right?

I don't see one.All I see is iron and pilot bushings are oiled bronze.

The one on my truck didn't look like an bronze...more like a steel one.

answer to those questions that make you go...hmmmm

i bought a rebuilt engine and did not check for the bearing before I put this mess together.

sooooo... tomorrow, i get to take it all apart again....

oh well, practice makes perfect.
