Rear drop coil springs?
I got my spindles, now I am looking for 4" drop rear coils for my 72. Who has the best deal out there? I see them from $80 to $169 a pair. Will there be a quality issue? Thanks

Re: Rear drop coil springs?
Yeah, what Cdowns said. We had to do all that stuff to ours when we dropped it. Have fun...

Thanks guys, I think I understand my project. Any answers to my questions would be appreciated, as well.

Re: Rear drop coil springs?
Quality differences are negligable, in my opinion, but you can buy a 'heavy duty' drop spring. Ride would be harsh, but you could still haul almost like you did with stock springs.
I know others will follow me: ECE is awesome! No hassles, no incorrect parts, no bs, good customer service. Great adjustable track bar setup, too. CPP does have a relative cheap rear lowering kit that has springs, shocks, shock relocator brackets, custom panhard bar and brackets. Pretty good deal, but the customer service is not as good as ECE. |
Re: Rear drop coil springs?
I'll just be honest, I didn't care for products from CPP. I didn't think they were as high quality. Their customer service wasn't great either. Every time I've ever dealt with ECE, it's been great. I almost always get a guy named Stan answering when I call. He's always been real nice and tries to help me in any way possible. Their products are also very top quality.
You WON'T go wrong dealing with ECE. |
