Las Vegas 67-72 truck question!

Are there Junk yards or parts places in Las Vegas?

I will be going to Vegas on or around Feb 22, 09. I really injoy looking around for parts for our 67-72 trucks. Wanted to ask you all if there were any recommendations on where I could go truck part hunting there in Vegas? I appreciate your inputs. Maybe I will get lucky and actually meet some one from the board!! Thanks all!
Respectfully

Tuckers Classic Truck Parts is a decent place to check out. It is a store, however, not a junkyard. I do not know of any junkyards in Vegas that would have any of our trucks. If any of the locals know of any, I am sure they will chime in.

The younger of my brothers lives in North Las Vegas.

I'll give him a phone call & ask.
But, I may not be able to do it tonight. Too many irons in the fire right now.
Tomorrow night will be the latest, though.

Thanks for the heads up on Tuckers. I was looking for a parts place or Junk Yards. Thanks for the hook up. I printed out directions and contacts to go visit Tuckers. Maybe I will get lucky and meet a fellow board member too while I am there. Thanks fellows.

When I went down there last year I called a few in the phone book and they told me that they don't deal in anything that old. I didn't call all of them but after getting the same answer from 5 of them I gave up. None of them knew of anyone else that might either.
It becoming more and more of a problem, Noone having anything this old anymore.

My brother wasn't any help.

But I did do a google search, "Las Vegas, NV, wrecking yards" and there were something like 90K listings.

The good:

Find a native Nevada truck and while it might be worn out, it will be rust free. (found a really nice swb 4x4 at the pick a part on Lamb Blvd a few months back).
The bad: not a lot of 67-72 out there although you will see a lot of 73 up. Lots of wrecking yards in NLV although in some yards it's not unusual to have to be escorted by someone. I like to wander myself.

re Tuckers: I find them to be expensive. Usually our board members beat their prices even when considering shipping. I try to be cool when I go there but they are hardly ever friendly and I feel like I'm putting them out or something.
I always seem to be interrupting their lunch. The place always smells like cheeseburgers when I'm there. They never share:lol:
