"Innovation Retrokits"
Seen a late model chevy truck on South 85 in Charlotte yesterday with one of these kits on it. Remembered the Episode on Truck U!
Thought it was pretty cool. http://www.innovationretrokits.com/_..._retrokits.jpg http://www.innovationretrokits.com/_...roup-photo.jpg http://www.innovationretrokits.com/photos.html |
Re: "Innovation Retrokits"
I have mixed feelings about those kits. There's nothing like the real thing....

Re: "Innovation Retrokits"
def. an improvement on the 88^ styling, but I would rather have the real thing as well...

Re: "Innovation Retrokits"
I agree with you fellas 100%! I personaly would not even think about spending that much money on something like that. Real deal is more satisfying to me. It sure did look funky from the side. No disrespect if anyone has a kit, but not my taste.

Re: "Innovation Retrokits"
Sorta like a bug with a rolls/royce kit, WHY?

Re: "Innovation Retrokits"
I agree with you all.. Although the red blazer is kinda tough looking.. I would take it out and wheel the $h!t out of it..

Re: "Innovation Retrokits"
I wish these guys would put their time, energy, efforts and resources into manufacturing high-quality replacement panels for the '60-'66 Chevy trucks, especially hoods, door skins, front fenders, inner fenders, grille supports, cab floorboards and, most importantly, fleetside bed panels. I personally think they would make a fortune doing so.
The aftermarket panels, currently available, leave a lot to be desired, as far as form, fit and finish. |
Re: "Innovation Retrokits"

US BODY SOURCE http://www.usbodysource.com/ I noticed on the aftermarket OEM parts, 1960-1962 are kinda scarce. More 1964-1966 stuff you can buy. Bigger demand I guesss. |

Re: "Innovation Retrokits"
Blarf! Ten years ago I remember seeing a 49-51 ford kit for the 90's t-bird. Still ugly any way you look at it, just my opinion, if only someone stamped reproduction shotbed fleetside bed panels!:waah:
