My new toy ('86 K5)

I sold my '07 JK for my '08 Ram QC Hemi Big Horn. I hated my JK, but really miss the offroading. I came across a friends, friend in need of money. He bought an old Ram Charger, and started on it, and never really did anything to this Blazer. His buddy had it, and bought another Blazer, and sold it to this guy, and he let it sit also. The Blazer was purchased for $600. I will post pics below. It didn't have D-shafts, so before loading on my trailer, I rigged a front one up enough to load it on the trailer. It cam with an extra set of axles, Dana 44's, with higher 3.08 gears. It cam with a spare transfercase, and front fenders that havent been cut up. Blazer sets on a 6in suspension lift with 15/38.5/15, bald tires. It smokes a little bit, but probably sat a year. It needs a tuneup, but runs down the road. I can't expect much for $600, but besides the cut up front fenders, and the small cut in front of the back tires, its solid, and almost dent free. The doors are miss matched, and the passenger door is lacking a glass, and the motor is out on the rear window. Anyways, heres the pics.

That is very cool for $600:metal:

What did he do to the front fenders?

One of the owners had bigger plans I guess. The 2 owners I know of didn't cut the fenders up. The drivers side is cut off, but the passenger isn't done yet. Theres really no need to cut them up, because the tires aren't big enough. After that you can still do a 3in BL. It has no title, but the Blazer doesn't have to be a full time offroader, because its still in ok shape. The front end is a little loose though, but thats a easy fix.

I'm not really sure what I will do with it. I wanted to put a set of D-shafts in it and wheel it. With a passenger door, and the front fenders on, it would be kinda nice...lol. A good offroading and thats it, no more pretty truck. On the highway I'm seeing a good 7 miles a gallon though...lol.

If you don't need it as a daily driver then i would put the drive shafts in and wheel it.

I will probably use it to wheel. I thought about lowering it back down. I have the stock leafs, and gears and everything. If I did this, then I could use it as my responding vehical. I have a '08 Ram, and dont really like the fact that it smells of smoke all the time...lol.
