Opinion: Badges

I have a 69 SWB Stepper with a cowl hood, so I do not have a bowtie up front. I was think about using 67-68 fender emblems with the red bowtie and C10.

I know alot of people go shaved with no badges. What do you think about using different badges. My truck has an ECE 2 1/2" front drop with spindles and 4" rear drop with springs. It is not a restoration; it's more of a resto-mod.

What do you guys think? You and I would know they were not correct, but I'm not sure most people would. Would you go without badges rather than having incorrect badges?

Thanks,

Dan

LMAO....Riiiiigggghhhhht!

All the badges have been shaved off my panel. I did leave the mounting holes though in the grill (68) in case I decide to stick the bowtie back on there.

I acctually sis it the other way around. I shaved the Bowtie on the grille and left the side badges.. Of course i have brand new reproduction one s though.. i think they will look good against the new black paint.

I've always liked the V8 logo from one of the pre 60 trucks I think. It's in LMC. May toss it on my truck in place of the 350|8 badge
