71 Fleet SWB, My Way!
 

Okay here is the story. I am a FORD guy or at least I thought I was. I have found a love for 67-72 trucks. I have purchased five of them and in less than a year. I am keeping my 69 C-20 for a tow vehicle. I am combining my 70 & 71 and making a cool/neat truck. The rest has been parted and sold... Now here is my base platform.

The green truck is the 1970 that I plan to merge with the 71 truck above.... I removed the cab from the 70 to put on the 71. I now have to remove the cab from the 71, pint the frame and hook the airbag system back. I ordered a cab/bed mounting kit from ECE yesterday. I have 30 days till I retire from the Air Force. Part of my plan is making this truck a daily driver to my new job as a civilian sitting back in my same job but earning twice the money plus retirement pay. I also plan to drop a fuel injection motor in when the opportunity presents itself!
