Chop it!

Re: spg build
Hey looks like you have a good one to start with!
Is that a regular axle with mono leaf springs on the front or a drop axle? |
Re: spg build
just my opinion but please don't chop it. Some things just look better that way.
I'm doing the big window conversion on my 59. if you get to yours first (which is very likely considering the amount of time i get to work on my truck) please take pics. I'd love to see how you tackle the job. -Andy |
Re: spg build
suicide doors! The last picture gave me that Idea... way to cool looking..

Re: spg build
yes it is a regular axle with mono leaf for now. drop axle would be good idea also. best idea award for the suicide doors.will see.

Re: spg build
To each his own is my biggest motto when it comes to their hot rods, but in my opinion, yes on the suicide doors and no to chop.

Re: spg build
one vote no chop!... what about a stock body custom wheels and suspension. keeping something original and some not so original. oh and low!!! how low can you go!!!!

Re: spg build
HEY LOW 53 SUPER SWEET TRUCK, LIKE ALL THAT WORK. very sound sugestions for body mods. thank u for input. i am going to suicide the doors and leave chop alone. concentrate on suspension. I have a question if anyone knows if i can use the stock hinge in reverse for this year. i only seen 67 on here. thanks.
