Is there a differance in the 60-66 wheel well over the 67-72???

I posted the same question about wheel wells a couple of weeks ago. It seems that classicparts.com (I believe it is) now has 60-66 wheel tubs.

I've been wondering about that as well. I was going to compare mine to a coworker that has a 70. BTW did you find a bedside yet?

No besides yet, got tired of it in pieces so i ordered a ton of parts from mar-k. Put it all back together so i can drive it lol. its allmost spring here in GA and want to sport it around befor i get deployed again. But still looking for those bedsides and a set of wheel wells. That will complete the bed and will be time to move to the cab lol. its never ending. Might just have to drive it up to you for the rest of the body work while in the sand box for a year.

Now available is a repop of the '60-'66 Chevy fleetside rear wheel tubs. Previously the '67-'72 rear wheel tubs were being sold as a replacement for the '60-'66, but there were not close.

I met the owner of Bowtie Bits (www.bowtiebits.com) a few weeks ago and he informed me the correct '60-'66 wheel tubs were available in both fiberglass and steel.

I'm picking up another truck this week sometime, but it's got a nice SWB step. I know you need a fleet. I'm still looking for one for you. If your serious about me doing the work let me know. When I get my cab painted Sdaileys cab is next in line.

I've actually got a spare fleetside bed. I bought it with the intention of cutting down my lwb frame. Then I found out it was bent so I bought a parts truck that had its own bed. The bed that I have is decent, it will need some metal work done to it, but heck its 45 years old, I guess that's to be expected. Let me know if you're interested. I haven't really been looking to sell it, but will if you need it.

The guy at Brothers says they are working on bedsides for our trucks next. I was inquiring about big window inner cab panels, and he said if there was enough interest they might be next...

I went and looked at the steel ones from earlyclassic parts. They look nice but it said you have to put your own holes. Not a big deal but could take some time for the squar ones lol.
