Delco vs Bendix bosster ?

I decided to buy a new booster when my truck goes back together but what one is the best to get . I think Delco is better just because , and I know i need a new master so it dosent matter what booster i buy. And does on look diffirent from the other ? Thanks

One of you knows the diff !!!!!

When I changed mine I found there was a difference in the spacing of the mounting holes and the length of rod. Both boosters looked about the same. I would take your old one with and match it up. Im not sure what my cab came off of origionally. It could be a 1/2ton 3/4ton thing. good luck.

hey is that your truck in the avatar ? I think I have seen a pic of it on the net before . How hard was the keyless entry install?

john 12-15-2002 09:10 PM

72 MARIO yes its my truck. the keyless entry is an easy install. I think some of the board members sell kits. I bought the acutators and use my alarm system to operate them. John

What did it cost ? I think that keyless entry would be kinda Kool. Does that kit give you powerlocks aswell ? Thanks for the help

john 12-15-2002 09:36 PM

Yes it gives you power locks. I did not want the extra switches in my door so I use the keyless only. I put mine in four years ago. J.C.Whitney had a sale on at the time,$29.95 for a four actuator kit and $29.95 for the keyless kit. I have had no problems at all with it. good luck John

Delco and Bendix are different. You have to know your present type to get the right replacement. That was my experience when I replaced mine.
