1950 GMC door latch replacement
 

I bought a pair of door latches for my 1950 truck and was trying to replace them yesterday. Has anyone done this before and what steps did you take to take the old ones out? I took the 4 screws out that hold it in and the door handle off but before I went any further I thought I would ask. Does the entire window have to come out?
