ok im not selling any thing yet.

a buddy and i made the cal hood on his 65 (all steel) and i was wondering if
any of you guy think or would be intrested in buying them if we were to start
producing them...
we figured since the fiberglass ones were so bad most of the time guy might want real steel for simalar price (mabe little more??? dont know)
just trying to put some feelers out...
( check out sickindustries.net the building of the hood is there)
thank for the imput

That looks good. I've been wanting to do something similar but taller, for sometime now, just never seems to be enough time. Do you have any pics of the underside? Is it open under the cowl scoop or is it double wall?

Nice and clean looking. I would but I've already just about finished fixing my fiberglass one.

Re: need imput

So you would sell the top scoop and members would then inturn weld yours on top of their cut hood?

Re: need imput

I think you would have a strong position in the market place if you were producing a complete cowl hood. As far as I know ther eisn't anyone producing an aftermarket hood for our trucks at all.

That means you would have 2 types of customers, those that want a cowl, and those who need a hood.

Re: need imput

can you make a six inch cowl

westbrookw 03-19-2009 04:13 PM

Re: need imput

How about a 6 inch for a 62? I know some one that would buy one. He hates getting the spider web cracks touched up on his fiberglass one.
