08 4.3 exhaust rumble !?
 

Anyone have this issue ? Just curious , my Silverado "rumbles" during warm up just about when its fully warm(under load, part throttle) . 1st time I heard it I thought a semi truck was right next to me doing a jake brake.
Had it in the dealer for a couple of other warranty concerns and mentioned it.
They did not hear it but put in a section of flex before the muffler.
Because there was a TSB on it.
Now its more frequent but not as loud . Time for aftermarket cat back ? :lol:
Hoping for a cure .

I had a rumble in my '96 4.3 one day after I went fishing. I came back to get the truck and trailer to load up the boat, and when I started it, it was loud. I looked under it and lo & behold; someone had been sawing my catalytic converter off. I guess I got back in the nick of time, I just had to re-weld it back on the next day. Thieves!! Bah humbug!!

Man that sucks, glad it wasnt worse ! Friend from work stopped by the store in and out in 5 min. Cat gone ! Like they were waiting for him.
