Radiator fix
 

I have a tiny pin hoe in the side of my rad., how can it be fixed? Is there anything out there, like a pudy (?), that I can use to patch it?

If you or anybody you know can soldier clean it with a wire brush apply flux and soldier it up . It's pretty easy I've done it many times with great results . Hope this helps !! Bob

bing as hard as a rad needs to work in your part of the world, i would have it looked at by a rad shop.
You can patch it yourseld as Bob said, however, assuming it is an old rad, odds are it is probably gettin pretty bad and no sooner than you patch it, something else will go bad.

I agree with what Longhorn said. You can patch it, but if you have a hole in one place, most likely others will start showing up soon. Over heating your truck always suck and as usual, will happen when you are stuck in traffic or in a hurry to get somewhere.

If you are really on a budget, check out a local yank-your-part, wrecking yard.
You can usually get a radiator cheap.

If you have a 2 or 3 core, this would be a good time to install a 4 core radiator.

I have used the 2 stage putties to bond plaques to manhole covers. I even used it on a power steering reservoir. It lasted on the reservoir for a few years. But I would not risk it on a radiator, its not worth cooking your motor IMHO.
